If you're worried there may be a risk to life — for yourself or someone else — here's how to get help quickly.
If there is an immediate risk to life
If someone may have overdosed, has severe withdrawal symptoms, or is at risk of harming themselves or someone else, call 999 for urgent help.
If you can travel safely, you can also go to your nearest emergency department (A&E).
If you need urgent help for your mental health, get help from NHS 111 online or call 111.
