Why use a needle exchange?
Using clean needles lowers the risk of infections like hepatitis C and HIV, and can help prevent skin and vein problems. At our needle exchange, you can:
- Get free sterile needles, syringes, and other equipment
- Bring back used needles for safe disposal
- Ask for advice on safer injecting and caring for wounds
- Get tested for hepatitis C and HIV
- Pick up naloxone and learn how to use it
- Talk to staff about other support services if you want to
