WEDINOS is a harm reduction project, providing an anonymous postal drug testing service, which you can access independently or with the help of our team.

What is WEDINOS?

WEDINOS is a free and confidential drug testing service based in Wales, open to anyone in the UK.

You can send a small sample of a drug by post, and WEDINOS will test it to find out exactly what's inside. The results are shared online, so you can see what's been found - and how strong or risky it might be.

You don't need to give your name or personal details, and you won't get in trouble for sending a sample.

Why testing matters

Street drugs and pills can change all the time. Even drugs that look the same can have very different strengths or contain hidden substances. Testing can help you:

Understand what you're taking before you use it
Spot dangerous or unexpected ingredients
Make safer, more informed choices
Share warnings with others in your community

A note for professionals

No referral form is needed to access the (18+) CDAS drug and alcohol service for the first time. If you’re working with someone who could benefit from support, please encourage them to attend the drop-in directly.

Friday: 9.30am – 12.30pm
